Song

(american)Pride killed one man,
and honor killed many,
if you won't sell me that diamond
with blood i'll take it.
You train your man, I'll train my animals.
At dawn two swords shall clash,
and only one must draw blood.
My expansion keeps me big, but i want to be a giant.
By the end of the day bald eagle will rest on the Alamo.

Chorus: By night we sneek,
By day we fight,
A war we'll win,
The weak will die.

(mexican)My own sweat showers me,
to keep this flag standing.
To keep my kids of the American leash.
We should never rest, and we'll be the best.
My blood is boiling to shred those stars off that flag
Blue eyes meet brown eyes,
we feed that hungry beast the Alamo.
The strong Mexican shield old and antique but still strong.
The Americans lose friends and value, but gained enemies.
What good is it to win and lose.

Chorus:  By night we sneek,
By day we fight,
A war we'll win,
The weak will die.

You won the gold coin, we took the treasure.
Our land is nothing, our pride is big.
For one man kills many, and many kill one.

question #1

What was the Alamo? What happened and why is it important to understanding the Mexican American War?the Alamo was a home that served to missionaries and their Indian converts for about seventy years. The alamo construction began on the present site in 1724. In 1793, Spanish officials secularized San Antonio's five missions and distributed their lands to the indian residents that ramained. It is important to understand the Mexican American war so that people could knw how the lands ended up being owned by the indians.
This is a picture of the Alamo and part of the war when they are fighting.
