Santa Anna was Born in Jalapa in 1794. And Jalapa is in Mexico. He entered the army as a young man and following that, he entered the political fray. Santa Anna was a military strongmen and political opportunitist. He put himself as the savior of Mexico whenever he entered a war. Santa Anna always had the sense of coming back to a war or coming back to get what belongs to him. Over the time of the Mexican American war Santa Anna always plotted what to do next in war and how to react to the enemy. Also Santa Anna was one of the main leaders from the Mexican generals. He was a hero back than and still to this date he will continue to be a hero in Mexico for what he did for his country.
